The forerunner of vinifera grapes since 1979, Elk Run utilizes modern technology and oak aging to produce subtly complex character in their wines. The winery is known for individual attention, intimate tours, tastings and performances by local artists. Elk Run is the recipient of over 400 national and international wine competition awards. Winery Events
Elk Run features a variety of small, intimate events throughout the year requiring advance reservations or tickets. We offer at least one special event each month, including barrel tastings and special releases. We also have a champagne release twice a year, as well as special events on holidays such as Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and during the Christmas season. Join us for Wine Down Friday, April through November when we have local musical artists performing from 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
