Catoctin Breeze Vineyard is seated along the rolling hills of Eastern Appalachia's Catoctin Mountains. Superb soil drainage combined with very few nutrients within this limestone soil will naturally cause the vine to send its roots deep into the ground in search for water, bringing back the flavor of this specific site.

True to our name, the site of our vineyard enjoys a constant breeze from the Catoctin Mountains day and night, bringing the much needed relief from summer heat and humidity. This natural phenomenon reduces the need to use disease fighting chemicals, thus allowing our vines to grow in a naturally sustainable environment.

From I-70, take Route 15 north. Follow Route 15 for 20 miles, past Thurmont, to a right onto Roddy Road. The gravel road to the winery is 200 yards on the right. Winery is all the way up the hill.
