Take the tour and enjoy the countryside from the rolling hills of Mt. Airy to Downtown Frederick, and the Middletown Valley. Five wineries welcome tasters with discussions & samplings of three wines pulled from barrels or tanks led by cellar masters during a three-day preview. Experience wines silently aging, maturing through the magic of melding and blending. Be the first to experience these wines not yet released. Learn the nuances of each wineries techniques used to produce the 2010 and 2011 vintages. Each of 5 wineries on the Frederick Wine trail have prepared an educational experience not available as part of normal tastings. A commemorative tasting glass is included. Discussions and tasting are scheduled about ever 45 min. Reservations are suggested, however each winery is open for their general tastings that day with what ever program and fee is normally charged. Guests are always welcome to wait with a glass of wine.
