Maryland Governor Martin
O'Malley and Secretary of Agriculture Buddy Hance
have challenged all Marylanders to the annual Buy
Local Challenge.
Eating local can be fun and tasty!
From July 18-26, Maryland Department of Agriculture
encourages Marylanders to take the "Buy Local
Challenge." That means to voluntarily pledge
to include Maryland-grown products in your meals
for one week. That includes lots of great produce,
locally produced dairy products, meat, .
The Frederick Wine Trail
wineries are each offering their own versions
of the Buy Local challenge. Visit their websites
for more details- OR just visit each of the wineries
and see for yourself just how good local wines
can be.
